Welcome Team

"Hello, it's wonderful to see you today!"

Visitors to Kent First Baptist Church are very important to us.  Our goal is to make our visitors feel welcomed the minute they walk in the door.  The Welcome Team encompasses several areas of service to the body so our visitors and members can be loved, connected, and serve

Greeters

The primary role of the Greeter is to project KFBC’s friendliness to all who enter our campus.  You are the first touch to our regular attendees and visitors as you open the door for each person and greet them.  Since first impressions are so critical, the Greeters are vital to Sundays at KFBC.  Being a Greeter is a wonderful way to serve, get to know the KFBC church family, and help everyone who enters our church feel God’s love among us.

The requirements for being a greeter are simple and few—a desire to serve, the ability to smile and say “hello,” and signing up to be part of a rotating group of volunteers.

Information Desk

The primary role of the Information Desk volunteer is to greet visitors, answer questions, provide information about our church, distribute our special gift cups, encourage visitors to fill out the Connection Card, engage guests in conversation, and make guests feel welcomed.  The desk is manned by a rotating group of volunteers.
