Are you looking for family? You’ve found us at Kent First Baptist! We’re a group of believers in Jesus who want nothing more than to love our Lord through praise and worship, and to love others in His name. We are committed to one another, and to the people in our community – always looking for new and exciting ways to meet needs in Jesus’ name.
What is it like at our church? At Kent First we’re mostly about smiles and laughter, but we still find joy in sharing burdens. Our worship is certainly celebratory. Each week you will find two different services – one a blend of old and new, hymns and praise choruses – the other very simple with more contemporary approach to music. Either way you’ll find God’s “kids” of all ages spiritually challenged by the Word and inspired and encouraged in the faith
What about the kids? During the 925 worship hour your children will enjoy a bible class, while both adults and youth attend a variety of bible classes. During the 1057 worship hour children can attend Kids’ Church while the youth and adults relax and enjoy an hour of praise and worship. We also have an excellent staff of nursery attendants to care for the little and precious ones.
What can I expect at FBC? You will receive a warm welcome, a handshake, and over time plenty of hugs. You can relax, kick back and enjoy praising our great God. Come as you are – there is no fancy shmancy dress code here!
